I am proud to come from a large family where I am the oldest of seven kids. My father was not around most of my life, so I had the responsibility of looking after my brothers and sisters. Having so many brothers and sisters was fun because we always had enough time to play football and baseball. When I was a teenager I had many different part-time jobs, but my favorite was breeding Dalmatians. My favorite foods have always been pizza, hamburgers and spaghetti.
I graduated from Monterey High School with honors and the top of my class. In high school, I won many different types of special awards and contests, ranging from music and academics to wrestling and football. I have played saxophone since I was eleven years old. After high school, I then attended and graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.A. in Philosophy with a special focus on music. I have taught saxophone lessons to teenagers since I was eighteen, and have been a marching instructor in the marching band since high school.
I now enjoy studying Mandarin Chinese, playing jazz around town, swimming, playing football, and rock climbing.
