Sia
Sia從小在加拿大的渥太華長大，在2007年拿到湖源大學的心理學學位，當時也還繼續進修中等教育的碩士學位。Sia在2008年的夏天來到台灣，原本來台灣的意圖是學習中文後回到家鄉繼續完成學業，幸運的是他得到一個在ACES工作的機會，並且瞭解到他非常適合從事英語教學方面的專業。從那時候開始，他不斷的努力加強他的教學技巧及中文能力，他非常喜歡看到學生們的進步及利用新的教學方法挑戰學生們。他在空閒的時間，喜歡學習武術、烹飪及從事戶外活動。
Hello everyone! I am Sia. I was raised in Ottawa, Canada. I graduated from Lakehead University in 2007, with a degree in psychology. I am still currently in school doing my masters in secondary education. I came to Taiwan during the summer of 2008. My original intention of coming to Taiwan was to study Chinese and eventually go home to continue my graduate education. Luckily I was offered an opportunity to work at ACES and realized that teaching was the profession that best suited me. Since that time I have been working hard to improve both my teaching practice and my Chinese language ability. I greatly enjoy watching my students' progress and employing new teaching ideas to challenge them. In my spare time I enjoy learning martial arts, cooking, and outdoor activities.
