Andy
Andy來自於美國，從小跟著家人四處遷徙，他曾經住過美國四個不同的州、法國巴黎及日本東京。他在北卡羅來納州的查普爾高地念大學，在那裡他拿到了心理學的學士學位。當他拿到文憑後，他在蘇格蘭的愛丁堡住了一年的時間。他的父母目前居住在北卡羅來納州，他試著每年回去一次看看他們。他覺得住在國外其中最困難的就是與家人們分居兩地。
他在2001年來到台灣，他在台北從事英語教學已經有十年的時間。起初，他原本只計劃花上六個月的時間待在台灣，結果六個月變成一年；一年變成兩年。他非常開心能夠在台北居住及從事英語教學，他目前住在汐止，在那裡有他的朋友及同事作伴。他認為在ACES工作一直是非常好的經驗，能夠指導這些努力念書、優秀的學生完全豐富了他的生活。
Hi! My name's Andy. I'm from the United States. As a young boy, our family moved around a lot. I've lived in 4 different US states as well as in Paris, France and Tokyo, Japan. I went to college at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I got a B.A. in psychology. After finishing my degree, I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for a year. My parents currently reside in Raleigh, North Carolina. I try to get back once a year to see them. One of the hardest parts of living overseas is being so far away from my family.
I came to Taiwan in 2001. I've been teaching English in Taipei for almost ten years. At first, I came to Taiwan with the intentions of spending 6 months here. Six months turned into a year, and a year into two. Before I knew it, I was very happy and comfortable living and teaching in Taipei. I currently live in Xizhi, where I'm surrounded by friends and colleagues. Working at ACES has been a very rewarding experience. The opportunity to teach such hard-working and wonderful children has enriched my life.
